About Mike's Landscaping

Montford Cove tucks into the McDowell County foothills where the land starts climbing toward the Blue Ridge, creeks running cold out of the hollows and the ridgelines going violet at dusk. Mike's Landscaping keeps mountain-country lawns in order here — mowing terraced and sloping yards, edging drives that switch back on themselves, trimming close along stone walls and fence posts. Spring arrives late and then all at once in this country; by May the grass is running and the schedule tightens to weekly. Fall brings the leaf work, then a last low cut before frost sits in the bottoms for good. Montford Cove, Marion, Nebo, Old Fort and the roads toward Lake Tahoma are all within reach.
