About Jose's Pine Needles & Land Management LLC

There is a stretch of late winter when every bed in Mineral Springs gets its color back at once, and it arrives in bales. Jose's Pine Needles & Land Management LLC spreads pine straw thick and even, tucked to a clean line where the bed meets the grass, so the rust-brown sets off whatever is planted in it. The land management side runs heavier: brush cut back off a fence row, briars and volunteer saplings taken out, an overgrown corner of a lot handed back to daylight. Mowing and trimming then keep it that way once the ground has been opened up. From the road it looks simple, but up close it is the difference between a lot and a place.
