Action Lawn

About Action Lawn

Seven in the morning on a Union County side road, and the pastures along Twelve Mile Creek are still wet when the ramp comes down. Action Lawn takes the week the way Mineral Springs gives it — mow, trim the fence lines, edge the walks, clear the clippings, on to the next. Red clay grows fescue when it feels like it and weeds whenever it wants, which is why a lawn kept on a schedule stands out among the pines. There is a plain pleasure in pulling away from a yard that looks better than it did an hour ago. Mineral Springs, Waxhaw, Wesley Chapel and Monroe.
