Creekside Lawn Care

About Creekside Lawn Care

By September the creek that gives this township its name has dropped to a slow brown ribbon under the sycamores, the nights finally cool, and tall fescue is ready to be brought back from a hard summer. Creekside Lawn Care times the season to that turn — seeding the thin spots, mowing lower to let seed reach soil, keeping the leading edge of the leaf drop off the new grass. Weekly mowing, trimming and edging carry the rest of the calendar, and the fall cleanup takes the yard down to bare, swept ground before winter. There is a particular pleasure in walking a lawn in early October and seeing green haze coming up where bare clay was in August. It is slow, ordinary work, and it changes how a property looks for the next full year.
