Every yard has one line that decides how the whole place reads: the line where turf stops and the bed begins. Blade and border works that line across Middle Creek, cutting it true along walks and drives, then mowing the open ground so the stripes run square to the house. In May, when the grass is pushing hard and the crepe myrtles are still just leafing out, a lawn can go from shaggy to squared away in a single visit — trimmed at the posts, edged at the curb, swept clean of every clipping. Beds get their shoulders redefined and topped with mulch so the color contrast does the rest of the work. It is a simple standard, held every week, and it makes an ordinary Wake County lot look considered.
