Affordable Lawn Care

About Affordable Lawn Care

July in this part of Wake County arrives with the heat already leaning on you by nine in the morning, and the only shade for half a block comes from one old willow oak. That is when the mowers of Affordable Lawn Care are already halfway down a street, cutting a little higher because the grass is thirsty and the cicadas have not stopped since sunrise. Trimming follows the fence line and the mailbox post, the edge along the sidewalk gets reopened where summer growth crept over it, and the drive is blown clean so nothing tracks inside. The reward is that hour in late afternoon when a thunderhead stacks up over the pines and the yard, freshly cut, waits for the rain. Southern Wake County summers are long, and a lawn kept on schedule carries through them well.
