About Griffin Tree Service & Landscaping

Mayodan takes its name from two rivers, the Mayo and the Dan, and on cool mornings the fog off them sits in the low yards until the sun climbs the ridge. Griffin Tree Service & Landscaping starts in that fog most weeks, mowing and trimming lawns across the bottomland and the slopes standing above it. Piedmont ground rolls here, so a clean cut takes reading the grade — where to turn, where to lift, where a mower would otherwise leave a scar. By afternoon the grass has dried and striped and the borders run sharp along the walks. The work covers Mayodan and out toward Madison, Stoneville, Eden and Walnut Cove.
