About PD AND SONS LANDSCAPING

Come evening in Maxton the light goes gold across the flat fields and the trucks out on 74 switch their headlights on early. That is the hour PD AND SONS LANDSCAPING likes best — grass cut, trimmings blown clean, a whole yard holding still while the heat lets go. Lawn work on this Robeson and Scotland county ground means learning what the sandy loam near Shoe Heel Creek will and will not hold in August, then cutting to suit it. The pride sits in small things: a true border around the mailbox post, no scalped patch where the yard rolls away. They cover Maxton and the stretches out toward Laurinburg, Wagram, Rowland and St. Pauls.
