About Big Cntry Landscaping

The soil around Maxton is sand more than clay, quick to drain and quicker to grow whatever gets a foothold in it. Big Cntry Landscaping keeps lawns cut and shaped across that sandhill country, where longleaf pines throw long shadows over the yards by four o'clock. A mowed line looks different here — the blades lie pale and even, and the edge along a driveway reads like a pencil mark on brown sugar. Handing back a yard that sits settled and squared is worth the sweat, ready for the porch sitting that comes after supper. The mowing runs through Maxton and out toward Laurinburg, Red Springs, Rowland and Pembroke.
