Hansen's General Lawn Care

About Hansen's General Lawn Care

By late March the Sandhills around Marston go yellow with pine pollen — it coats the roads, the trucks and every blade of grass until the first good rain washes it down. Hansen's General Lawn Care works straight through it, mowing, trimming, edging, blowing walks and drives clear, raking pine straw out of the beds. Sandy soil drains fast under the longleafs here, so the grass tells you quickly whether anyone has been paying attention to it. An even cut with the edges held clean stands out sharply against all that rust-colored straw. Richmond County keeps the week full: Marston, Hamlet, Rockingham and Ellerbe.
