Randall's lawn care

About Randall's lawn care

Past the last streetlight in Marshville the road narrows to two lanes with a ditch on either side, and the yards start running out to the treeline. Randall's lawn care works those lots — the half acre, the full acre, the long shoulder that mows straight into the field. Evening is the hour for it: heat easing off, swallows turning over the grass, cut lines running out toward a red sky. Edging along a gravel drive takes a steady hand, and the ditch bank gets its pass too. The truck heads home in near dark, and the whole place smells like cut grass until the dew comes down.
