About BILLINGSLEY SERVICES LLC

Mist lies in the Valley River bottom most mornings at Marble, lifting slowly, a little at a time, until the Cherokee County hills come back one ridge after another. BILLINGSLEY SERVICES LLC starts once it clears — mowing, trimming, edging, blowing the drives, carrying off whatever the season has dropped. Yards here run from level river ground to slopes that have to be taken sideways, and both get the same treatment: cut evenly, all the way out to the line. The town took its name from the stone underneath it, and the work is about that plain and that solid. Marble, Andrews and the valley road toward Murphy are all within easy reach.
