About Hambleton Services

Frost finds Maggie Valley early, settling along Jonathan Creek in October while the ridges overhead are still holding their color. Hambleton Services works the valley floor and the driveways that climb off it — mowing, trimming, edging and clearing leaves before the mountain weather takes the decision out of anyone's hands. Grass grows on a slant here and the season is shorter than it is down the mountain, so every cut has to count. On a clear morning the Parkway ridgeline stands above the work like a wall, and a finished yard beneath it looks exactly the way it ought to. Haywood County calls and the work goes.
