About BaxBie Enterprises LLC

Late February in Madison is the color of red clay and bare sycamore, and the Dan River runs high and brown with everything winter has turned loose upstream. BaxBie Enterprises LLC reads that tired ground for what it will be in April — where moss took hold, where leaves matted over the turf, where a bed edge quietly disappeared. The season opens with cleanups: raking out the beds, clearing limbs and leaves, cutting the edges back to a line you can see from the street. Then the mowing begins and does not let up until the Rockingham County hills go gold again. Watching a worn-out yard come back green is the part that keeps the trailer hitched.
