About Barfield’s Landscaping

In Lucama the wind always has something to do: it turns the whirligigs at the edge of town and moves in long slow waves across the open Wilson County fields. Barfield's Landscaping keeps the yards inside that wide country trimmed close and edged clean — mowing, string trimming, blowing the drives, hauling off the leaves when the sweetgums finally let go. Late summer evenings run gold here well past supper, and a fresh-cut lawn under that light is its own small reward. Down toward Contentnea Creek the ground turns soft and the grass grows differently, which is the sort of thing you only learn by working it week after week. Every yard from town out to the farm roads gets the same attention.
