Collins Lawn Service

About Collins Lawn Service

August in Locke is loud — cicadas in the pines, thunder somewhere off toward Rockwell, heat that will not quit until the light goes orange. Collins Lawn Service takes the late slot on days like that, mowing while the shadows stretch long across the front yards. Trimming around the porch steps, edging the walk, clearing the clippings from the drive; the yard cools down looking looked-after. A lawn that greets the evening cut and clean is its own reward at the end of a hot week. The route covers Locke and the neighboring Rowan County towns — Salisbury, Granite Quarry and Faith.
