About Liberty Lawn Co.

Spring reaches downtown Lillington before it reaches anywhere else, the maples along Main Street going bright while the river bottoms are still bare. Liberty Lawn Co. starts its season there, waking lawns with a first mow, recutting edges along sidewalks and drives, and clearing the winter's litter out of the beds. Harnett County grass wants attention in bursts, a hard flush in April, a slow crawl in August, then one more surge when the nights cool. Their work follows that curve week to week, so a yard never has to be rescued. By the time October turns the sweetgums, they have already moved on to leaves.
