Darr’s Landscaping

About Darr’s Landscaping

South of Lexington the land stops being flat and starts lifting in long slow ridges toward the Uwharrie country, and yards down that way have to be read before they are cut. Darr's Landscaping shapes those slopes — beds cut in along the grade, mulch spread deep enough to hold through a summer downpour, shrubs pruned back so a house can be seen from the road again. Mowing and trimming keep the rhythm week to week, with cleanups in spring and fall to clear what the wind and the pines leave behind. There is a particular satisfaction in the moment a ragged bank turns into something with a shape and an edge to it. The red clay under all of it never gets easier, and that is half the pride.
