More Than Mowing

About More Than Mowing

October turns the Caldwell County hills all at once, and then every one of those leaves has to land somewhere. More Than Mowing takes the season as it comes in Lenoir — grass cut shorter into the cool weeks, fencelines and beds trimmed back, leaves cleared off lawns and walkways so the turf can breathe until spring. In summer it is the weekly circuit instead, the same yards held at the same height, edges recut wherever the grass creeps over the concrete. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass of the day, the yard raked open and the light going gold up the ridge. Lawn care and yard cleanup for Lenoir and its neighboring towns.
