Foothills Lawn and Landscape

About Foothills Lawn and Landscape

At seven on a June morning the hollows around Lenoir hold fog the way a bowl holds water, and the low ground near the Johns River stays white until the sun clears the ridge. Foothills Lawn and Landscape starts on the high yards and works downhill as the grass dries, because a wet cut and a dry cut are not the same job. The day's work is mowing, trimming, edging and clearing the walks, plus the bed lines and shrub tidying that keep a landscape from blurring into the lawn. A humid Carolina summer pushes everything to grow at once; the answer is arriving before it does. By evening the mowed ground gives its heat back and the whole street smells green.
