A Cut Above Tree Service and Lawn Care

About A Cut Above Tree Service and Lawn Care

In July the weather here shows its hand by two in the afternoon — thunderheads stacking over the Blue Ridge where 321 begins its climb toward Blowing Rock, then twenty minutes of rain and a lawn that gains an inch overnight. A Cut Above Tree Service and Lawn Care keeps a schedule that expects exactly that, cutting between storms and circling back once the ground firms up. Mowing, string trimming along the banks, edging the concrete, blowing the drive clean: the ordinary list, run in the order that keeps a yard from getting away from anybody. The steep side yards Lenoir hands out so freely get taken slow and on the diagonal, because that is how they finish even. What is left when the truck pulls off is a property that looks like the summer isn't winning.
