About Jernigan Landscaping LLC

Shade is the standing problem in this part of Raleigh — mature willow oaks over half the yards north of Leesville, and grass that has to be talked into growing beneath them. Jernigan Landscaping LLC works with that rather than against it: cutting at the right height, thinning and trimming shrubs so light can reach the turf, seeding the thin spots, keeping beds sharp where the lawn simply won't hold. The woods around Durant Nature Preserve set the tone for these neighborhoods, and a yard here looks best when it reads like a clearing kept on purpose. Fall cleanups are the heavy lift; the spring mulch is the reward. It amounts to a long conversation with a piece of ground, carried on one week at a time.
