About Evergreen Lawn and Tree Service Inc.

The storm line comes up from the south in the dark, and by two in the morning freezing rain has already laid a skin over everything in Lees Township. Evergreen Lawn and Tree Service Inc. works those small hours, plowing what has piled and cutting ice loose from driveway aprons where a car would otherwise sit stranded. Ice storms in the Sandhills do their damage quietly — no drifts, just a hard clear glaze over sand and asphalt alike — so the de-icer matters as much as the blade. Drives, private lanes, walkways and commercial lots are opened for the day ahead, in Lees Township and around Vass, Cameron, Lobelia and Carthage. Daylight comes up gray, and the pavement is ready for it.
