About Southern Gems Landscaping

Live oaks and magnolias throw deep shade over some of the older yards around Kinston, and mowing beneath them is careful business — roots at the surface, damp ground, grass that comes in thin and slow. Southern Gems Landscaping works those lawns with a light hand and a sharp edge: mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup, adjusted to whatever the shade will allow. Early morning, dew still on everything, is the pleasant hour to be out there. A shaded yard kept neat has a cool, settled feeling you do not get anywhere else. It is worth the extra patience.
