About Danny Smith Landscaping & Drng

Lenoir County sits on sandy loam that drinks a thunderstorm and hands it back to the grass by supper. Danny Smith Landscaping & Drng works yards on that ground — in town, and out where a lawn runs right up to the edge of a tobacco field. Late August, air thick enough to lean on, the mower throwing a fine green haze: that is the season here. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup, done so the yard reads as one clean piece against all that open country. It is plain work, and it looks like something when it is finished.
