Spry’s Lawn Care

About Spry’s Lawn Care

Stand at the foot of the big hill where the Wright brothers ran their gliders and you understand the wind here: it comes in off the water all day and never entirely quits. Spry's Lawn Care cuts into it — mowing at midday with the grit blowing sideways, trimming tight along fences and foundations, edging drives so the sand has a border to stop at. A lawn on this island earns every inch it grows, which is exactly why a well-kept one on a Kill Devil Hills side street stands out the way it does. Cleanups follow the calendar: winter debris in spring, leaf and storm litter come fall. Spry's serves Kill Devil Hills and the towns around it — Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, Colington, Southern Shores and Manteo.
