About Em & J Projects Llc

By the middle of October the crowds have thinned out of Nags Head and the light goes long and gold across the wax myrtle. Em & J Projects LLC keeps the yards going once the season's noise is gone — mowing while the grass still wants it, trimming, edging beds, hauling off the leaves and limbs that pile into the corners of a fenced lot. Shrubs get cut back before the winter wind has a chance to whip them around. An empty cottage with a kept yard still looks like somebody is watching over it, and on a quiet island street that counts for something. The cool-weather work is the unshowy half of the year, and it is the half that shows in April.
