About Green Carpet Lawn Care LLC

Come July the beds at the botanical garden off Main are loud with color, and the lawns around town answer in a quieter register: green, even, unbroken. Green Carpet Lawn Care spends the growing season chasing exactly that — mowing on a schedule the turf can count on, feeding it, staying after the crabgrass and broadleaf weeds that want the same ground. Cut heights come up when the heat sets in, and the clippings fall where they do the most good. The reward arrives in the evening, when the light goes long and low across a yard and every pass shows as its own clean band of shade. That is the entire ambition, and it is a good one to have in a town this green.
