About Carlson's Landscaping

April turns Kenansville soft — dogwoods breaking white along the streets near Liberty Hall, old brick warming in the sun, and every lawn in town waking up at once. Carlson's Landscaping keeps pace with that surge, because in Duplin County spring does not ease in so much as arrive all in a week. The work is mowing on a steady rhythm, edging that follows a walk without wobbling, trimming close to porch piers and picket lines, and feeding and weed control so the green holds through the long heat that follows. Grass here grows with real appetite, and answering it well is its own craft. By evening the cut rows lie even across a yard, and a house that has stood on that street a long while looks the part.
