A&E Lawn & Landscaping

About A&E Lawn & Landscaping

Seven o'clock on a June evening in Kannapolis, and the light goes long and gold across Village Park — the carousel slowing, the gazebo throwing its shadow halfway over the grass. That is the hour A&E Lawn & Landscaping likes best, when a yard cut that morning still holds its lines and the border along the front walk reads straight as a chalk mark. The work is mowing, trimming, edging, the landscape beds that frame a Cabarrus County porch, and the cleanups that come once the maples let go. Piedmont summers ask a lot of a lawn — heat, humidity, red clay baked hard by August — and the answer is simply showing up on rhythm, week after week. A&E works Kannapolis and the towns around it, out toward Concord, China Grove, Landis, Mooresville and Salisbury. When the mowers go quiet, the yards keep the shape they were given.
