About Holland's Tree Service LLC

The Yadkin makes a wide, unhurried bend below Elkin, and on October mornings the fog lies on the bottomland until the sun clears the ridge. Holland's Tree Service works the river side of town, among sycamores and big bank hardwoods that grow fast in that soil and get heavy before anyone thinks to look up. Removal there means reading a lean over soft footing; trimming means lifting limbs off porch roofs and out of the driveway; pruning means cutting for the shape a tree will hold for years to come. Storms follow the valley down with the river for a guide, and the work after is straightforward — saw, chip, haul, rake. When the truck pulls away, the yard is open, the ground is clean, and the fog has the place to itself again.
