J & J's Family Lawn Care

About J & J's Family Lawn Care

There is a week each spring in Jobs Cabin when the Wilkes County foothills seem to turn green overnight, hardwoods leafing out on the ridges and the Blue Ridge standing hazy along the skyline. That is the week the grass takes off too, and J & J’s Family Lawn Care is there to catch it: first cut of the year, borders reset, winter’s twigs and debris raked out of the corners. From then on the visits come regularly through the warm months, mowing, clipping in tight along porches and garden beds, and edging drives so the yard looks drawn rather than grown. Morning light comes sideways over these hills, and a just-cut lawn catches it in long, bright bands. It is the kind of care that lets a household enjoy its own yard instead of chasing it.
