Martin's Lawn Care

About Martin's Lawn Care

Summer evenings in Jamestown belong to the cicadas and to the lake at the edge of town, where the light goes gold over the water around eight. Martin's Lawn Care works right up to that hour — mowing, trimming, edging, and a blower down the drive so the walks are clean when the porch sitters come out. Between Greensboro and High Point the yards range from small in-town squares to long sloping lots, and every one gets the same even cut. Autumn shifts the work to leaves, and there are plenty of them under the big hardwoods here. The pleasure of it is uncomplicated: level turf, honest borders, nothing left lying on the pavement.
