DQ Lawn Care

About DQ Lawn Care

By ten o'clock in July the cicadas are loud in the longleaf pines and the heat owns the whole county, so DQ Lawn Care starts early and gets the cutting done while dew is still on the blades. Mowing, trimming, edging, then a full blow-down of walks and drive — taken in that order a yard goes quicker and comes out looking settled. Onslow's sandy ground drains fast, which means midsummer lawns can go pale in a week and roar back after one good thunderstorm. Where Jacksonville thins out toward Richlands, ditch banks and field edges want the same attention as the front lawn. Pulling out at noon and looking back down a row of yards all trimmed to the same height is what makes the early alarm worth it.
