About Glory Bound Lawn & Landscape

Sunday mornings in the Jacks Creek community come in quiet, mist off the water and the Black Mountains standing up blue behind everything. Glory Bound Lawn & Landscape keeps the yards tucked into those hollows and hillsides, mowing, trimming the banks, edging the walks and clearing cuttings from the porch steps. Yancey County grass grows in a short, generous season, and a lawn held even through it reads as cared for from the road below. When the leaves come down off the ridges the work turns to raking and hauling until the grass is open again. Steady, unhurried, outdoors all day — there are worse ways to spend a life.
