Half Duff Lawn Care

About Half Duff Lawn Care

Fog sits in the Iron Duff coves until mid-morning, and mowing waits on it the way most everything in Haywood County does. Half Duff Lawn Care takes the yards as the mountains made them — sloped, uneven, wrapped in hardwood — and cuts them level anyway, trimming the banks and edging where gravel gives over to grass. Mountain summers are short and generous, so the route runs hard from the first flush of growth until the ridges turn and the leaves come down. Then it is cleanup work, clearing lawns before the first hard frost stiffens everything. There is a particular satisfaction in standing at the road and looking back at a cove yard cut clean to its fence line.
