Pine Valley Turf

About Pine Valley Turf

Pines throw a long thin shade across a lot of ground in this township, and grass beneath them has to be coaxed rather than driven. Pine Valley Turf cuts with that in mind — a higher blade in the shaded stretches, a closer pass out in the open, trimming around trunks without scarring bark, edging the walks, and clearing needles and clippings off the concrete. There is a particular quiet to mowing in pine shade on a hot afternoon, resin and cut grass in the air at the same time. What comes out of it is a lawn that reads even from sun to shadow, which is harder than it sounds. That evenness is the point.
