Buck's Lawn Service

About Buck's Lawn Service

Early summer mornings near House Creek start with birdsong and end, about an hour later, with the sound of a tailgate dropping. Buck's Lawn Service is a first-thing operation — mowing while the shade still stretches across the front yards, running the fence lines with the trimmer, edging where the sidewalk has been letting turf creep over it. Wake County heat arrives by ten, so the work gets out ahead of it. There is nothing complicated about a well-cut lawn; there is only doing every part of it, including the pass that clears the driveway and the walk. Neighborhood by neighborhood, the block gets its shape back.
