About Stepps Landscaping

By November the cypress along the creek have gone rust-colored, the fields around Hookerton are cut to stubble, and the leaves let go all at once. Stepps Landscaping spends that stretch clearing them — leaf cleanup, final cuts, beds pulled clean, drives and walks blown down to bare concrete. The rest of the year is the steady work: mowing, edging, string trimming, shrubs shaped back off the porch. Winters on this part of the coastal plain are short and mild enough that the grass barely sleeps before it stirs again. There is a particular quiet in a yard finished on a cold afternoon, everything level, everything put away.
