Doc's Lawn Care

About Doc's Lawn Care

First light in Holloway comes up over hardwood ridges and old tobacco barns, and the red clay under the grass shows wherever the turf gives out. Doc's Lawn Care is out early on those Person County yards — mowing before the heat, trimming fence lines, edging the walk so the border between grass and concrete is a decision instead of an accident. Piedmont summer grows a lawn fast and then bakes it, so timing matters more than muscle. Clippings get blown off the drive, the gate gets latched, and the yard is left better than it was found. By nine the dew has burned off and there are three more places waiting.
