Lawn Works

About Lawn Works

In January the hardwoods over Emerywood stand bare and the lawns go tan and still, and that's when the shape of a property shows plainest — every edge, every bed line, every corner. Lawn Works spends the cold months clearing what fall left behind, then meets the first green of March with mowers ready. Through the growing season it's a steady cadence of cutting, trimming and edging on High Point's shaded older streets and the newer ones out past them. Grass under big trees is fussy and slow, and it repays anyone who bothers to cut it at the right height. The name says the plain truth about it: a lawn is work, done over and over, and the result is a yard that always looks kept.
