Burnette's Lawn Services

About Burnette's Lawn Services

October turns the oaks over High Point rust and gold, and for a few weeks the yards are more leaf than grass. Burnette's Lawn Services works that season all the way out — blowing the beds clear, raking and hauling the piles away, then giving the fescue a last clean cut before the cold settles in. The rest of the year runs on rhythm: mowing, edging, trimming the fence lines, keeping shrubs from crowding the windows. Out toward the Uwharrie foothills the light comes low and long by four o'clock, and a finished yard shows every line of it. That's the reward — a place that looks tended rather than merely cut.
