Southern Lawnscapes

About Southern Lawnscapes

By July the Piedmont heat settles over Hickory and stays, crepe myrtles blooming hard along the driveways while the clay bakes red between the blades of grass. Southern Lawnscapes runs the midsummer rhythm without flinching: mow, trim, edge, then bring the beds back to a dark even border. That stretch of the year is when a yard either holds its shape or gets away from you, and the schedule bends to the rain the way the grass does. Stepping back at midday from a finished lawn, everything squared to the walk and the beds sharp against the green, is its own reward. Yards in and around Catawba County get that same attention week to week, straight through the growing season.
