About HKY Services, LLC

Small planes come in low over Highway 321 on their way down to the Hickory airfield, and from up there in October the town is a patchwork of yards going gold at the edges. HKY Services, LLC keeps those yards in order from the ground — mowing on schedule, trimming the fence rows, cutting an edge along the walk that holds its line all week. Autumn in the Catawba Valley means leaves, and plenty of them, so the fall runs on blowers and tarps until the grass is clear and breathing again. Mulch goes down, beds get squared away, shrubs get their shape back before the cold sets in. The airport code makes a fine short name for a company, and Hickory makes a fine place to work.
