About Cold Creek Landscaping

The Catawba slows and widens into Lake Hickory, and the yards running down to it hold their green late and their frost long. Cold Creek Landscaping works both ends of that year — mowing, trimming and edging through the warm months, then plowing drives and salting walks when a cold front slides down out of the foothills. Hickory sits in the seam between mountain and Piedmont, which means grass that grows nine months and snow that shows up with no warning whatsoever. The standard is the same either way: a straight line where the lawn meets the drive, and a drive you can cross in work boots at six in the morning. Leaves in November, ice in January, the mower back out by March.
