Bush & Eddies Lawn Care

About Bush & Eddies Lawn Care

By two o'clock on a July afternoon the red clay of Catawba County has gone hard as fired brick and the cicadas are running the whole valley. That is when Bush & Eddies Lawn Care is out anyway, mowing, edging and trimming through the heat with Bakers Mountain standing green and heavy off to the south. Foothill lawns ask for patience — thin soil in one corner, deep shade in another — and the answer is a steady schedule rather than one big push. Come October those same yards get raked and hauled clear, leaves off the fescue before the rain mats them down. What lasts is the look of a place being kept: even height, clean lines, nothing left in the street.
