About Green Waves Lawn Care and Home Services LLc

Dawn on the Perquimans River arrives soft and silver, cypress standing knee-deep along the banks while slow water slides past Hertford toward the Albemarle Sound. Green Waves Lawn Care and Home Services LLc carries that unhurried calm onto the yards of this small river town, mowing in long, even passes that ripple across the turf the way the name suggests. Summers in this corner of northeastern North Carolina run warm and damp, and grass grows quickly in the low ground, so a steady round of cutting, trimming and edging holds a lawn settled rather than shaggy. Each visit closes with a pass of the blower over walks and porch steps. By midmorning, when the river light turns gold and the town is fully awake, the lawn lies cut and calm as the water.
