Elliott's Lawn Services

About Elliott's Lawn Services

On a cool Hertford morning the bells carry across the courthouse green and the grass holds frost only long enough to catch the sun. Elliott's Lawn Services keeps that kind of ground looking the way the town expects — mowed level, trimmed tight to fence posts and foundations, edged where turf meets brick and concrete. Along this stretch of the Albemarle the soil is rich and the growing season is long, so leaf cleanup and steady cutting run well past when other places have quit. Nothing about the work is complicated; it is simply done, and then done again. Hertford is a town that notices a tidy yard, and that is reason enough to cut a straight line.
