Southern Roots Soft Wash

About Southern Roots Soft Wash

A real snow stops Haw River altogether — the trains still going through, the highway hushed, the whole town looking out at the same white yard. Southern Roots Soft Wash puts that morning to use: plowing driveways, clearing walkways and porches, salting the runs that turn slick once the sun starts moving things around. In this corner of North Carolina a few inches counts as an event, and the shovels that exist in most garages are not equal to it. Showing up with the right equipment on the one day a winter it is needed carries its own reward. Then the melt runs off toward the river and the county lets out its breath.
