About SOBX Lawn Care & Landscaping

Harkers Island points east into Core Sound, close enough that the Cape Lookout light swings over the water at night and the wind always carries salt. Grass grows differently in a place like this — thin soil, yaupon and wax myrtle crowding the edges, a breeze that never fully quits. SOBX Lawn Care & Landscaping works with all of it: mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and bed work, and cleanups suited to ground that lives with the sound on three sides. Down East yards are modest and hard-earned, and a tight cut around a boat shed or a shell drive says somebody cares. When the light goes low and gold over the water, a tended yard on this island looks like it belongs.
